Easter Eggs found in Minigame Lobby
So..I don't know if this is already posted. But, whatever..
Anyways on the console versions theres been a new Minigame Update and the only minigame is a mini version of Hunger/Survival Games.
However, as almost all the console users know, in one of the buildings theres 3 item frames with a diamond sword, an iron sword, and a gold sword in that order.
What if I told you that it was a secret code to unlock the iron doors downstairs? Guess what? I'm correct! I found 3 hidden clues around the map which gave clues how to open the door. In the room theres a chest with zombie heads in them!
Theres also more secrets from 2 firework spots that I found in the library and the cobweb area in the top of a building to even a secret pressure plate that I don't know what it does.
But theres obviously more secrets, I found another set of iron doors that are probably opened up by a seemingly unaccessable lever in a netherrack hole.

This article is about the mini games in the Legacy Console Edition. For minigames in general, see Minigames. For the mini games servers in Bedrock Edition, see Featured servers.
Legacy Console Edition only |
In the Legacy Console Edition of Minecraft, in update TU36, the Mini Games option was added. Mini games are essentially servers, but for the Legacy Console Editions of Minecraft. They can be played in splitscreen, online with friends or random people, or with another console by an ad-hoc connection (on Vita and Legacy Switch Edition). The three mini games available are Battle, Tumble, and Glide. The Bedrock Edition, which has superseded the Xbox One Edition and the Nintendo Switch Edition, will not contain Mini Games. The closest equivalent is featured servers, which have their own minigames, but can only be played online and do not support splitscreen. When a game first starts and after every round, all players will be teleported to the main lobby. In the main lobby, players will take no damage and have the opportunity to explore it. If they are lucky, they might be able to find the six Easter eggs as they explore, with each one rewarding them with a different mob (creeper, wither skeleton, skeleton, zombie, ender dragon) or player head for all Mini Games.

Battle[edit]
Battle is a game very similar to the popular server game Hunger Games, often played on servers in other versions of the game. Battle has a variety of other differences as well, such as the following: a fifteen second grace period, chests can refill over time, armor will be automatically equipped when picked up (depending on what armor is currently equipped, if any), TNT will be instantly ignited once placed, after some time has passed in a match a 'Showdown' mode will activate (name tags for all alive players are visible for the remainder of the match), as well as a timer at the top of the screen as the match is reaching its time limit. In addition, pressing the menu button will view the players in the game, who is alive, and the number of kills each player got. A maximum of 16 players (8 on older-generation consoles, 4 on PlayStation Vita) can join a session, depending on the settings. If the game is public, people that are not friends with the host player can join the session. Offline games, however, can be only used for split screen (4 players). There are two types of games: Casual and Competitive. Casual games allow all player skins and some other features relating to spectators. Competitive games do not allow player skins that are smaller or do not display certain armor. Spectators are invisible in Competitive, but not in Casual, where they appear as bats and can squeak. Spectators cannot fly through blocks, but can fit through one block tall spaces and can watch any players still alive.
As of TU50-52, a feature was added to differentiate between 8 or 16 player servers (Xbox One and PS4 Only).
As of TU60, the totem of undying can be found in the central chests in the Casual and Competitive modes, commonly in the High Power mode, never in the Decayed mode, and occasionally in the Food Central mode.
Custom Mode[edit]
Custom is the third mode that allows the host to change how the Battle Mini game plays out in three major ways:
- Random Chest Loot
- Normal – A standard, balanced set of items.
- Decayed – Similar to the Normal Chest Loot setting except armor and weapons are low on durability and the chance of more powerful loot is reduced.
- No Armor – All chests won’t have any armor items.
- High Power – Weapons and armor are all at least iron, at most diamond with enchantments, and the food changes to rabbit stew and cooked mutton, instead of apples and porkchops.
- Food Central – Only the central chests have food; the outer chests don’t have any.
- Hunger
- Normal – The standard hunger settings. Players will be able to heal and sprint even with low hunger, but can’t stand still without losing hunger points.
- Anti-Camping – Slightly rebalanced hunger settings to prevent players from staying in one place.
- Always Healing – Players will constantly regenerate health over time, but won’t be able to sprint if they’re low on hunger.
- No Hunger – The hunger bar isn’t used at all; players will always be able to sprint, but will never be able to heal or starve.
- No Starving – Players will never take starvation damage.
- Fast Healing – Players heal faster than usual.
- Lead Feet – Sprinting, jumping and swimming cause much more exhaustion than usual.
- Always Hungry – Every action causes much more exhaustion than usual.
- Spectating (Each of these different appearances also change the sound of the 'squeak')
- Bat – Default look for Casual matches.
- Parrot – The only spectator look that has different color variants, just like the actual mob.
- Vex – The only spectator look that portrays a hostile mob.
- Player Head – The head that is displayed varies from what skin the player has equipped.
- Invisible – Default look for Competitive matches.
- Misc. Settings
- Random Spawn – Either players spawn in the center or spawn where ever there is glowstone around the map.
- Take Everything – If enabled, players will be able to empty a chest in one go.
- Small Inventory – If enabled, only the hotbar, armor and offhand inventory slots will be available.
Loot[edit]
All Loot comes from the chests in the Battle Mini Game. The following list shows all of the items you can find in a normal Casual or Competitive match, and all their possible Enchantments if the weapon or armor does have any (Each list is in order from Foodstuffs –> Weaponry –> Utility –> Armor). In the beginning of every match, players can find items in the center chests in unique loadouts; and some of those loadouts have items that cannot be found anywhere else, like for example, the Damaged Diamond Sword listed below. Each loadout usually contains a mixture of weaponry, food, utility, and armor; and very few have some combination of all four. Every other chest outside the center do not have specific loadouts, but rather large and random loot tables. Very few chests in certain locations on every map have more powerful items that spawn in them, like the Stone Sword listed below. Since Minigames are exclusive to Legacy Console Edition, the damage points for Axe items are higher than they are in console, since the combat mechanics of the Combat Update are not in Legacy Console Edition. (Important Note: Not all Potion effects are accurate. For example, the Swiftness Potion only lasts 20 seconds in the Battle Mini Game, and not the 3 minutes it's shows)

Maps[edit]
Since TU49, there are 21 maps in Battle Mini Game. Each map comes with its own themed builds and music, often based on the texture pack used. (Note: You cannot change the texture pack or music you are using when playing Battle Mode). Players can only play on the first three maps mentioned unless they buy the Season Pass or other respective Battle Map Packs.
As of 1.90, the default texture pack was replaced with the newer Minecraft Classic texture pack; which is a small portion of the new Village and Pillage update coming to the PS4 edition sometime in the future.

Tumble[edit]
Added in the August 30, 2016 update, Tumble is more or less an official variation of the popular user-generated game 'Spleef'.
Much like Spleef, the object of the game is to be knock blocks out from under the other players while standing the player's own ground. The last person standing on the platform is the winner and the game cycles to the next round. In one mode of Tumble, players stand on a single, massive platform and attempt to destroy their opponents' footing with an iron shovel. In the other mode, there are three tiers of platforms which players must dig out from each other using snowballs.
Unlike traditional Spleef, the player must win three rounds to be sent back to the lobby to start the next round. Also, all blocks can be broken with one hit of a shovel (much like when in creative mode) or snowball – the sole exception being TNT blocks, which act as both pitfalls for unaware players as well as time-bombs which can be used to destroy the ground lower platforms (in snowballs mode).
Sixteen player multiplayer is not available for this game mode.
As of TU60, the custom setting allows the Standard defense, as well as fireworks and levitation potions.

Events[edit]
There are certain events that this mini game has. There are a total of two known ones that can be found. The first one was in Halloween where the maps would have their own distinctive layers and the Halloween 2015 Mash-up Texture pack was also used. This last one is only available for the Xbox 360, as this marked the 6th birthday for Xbox 360 Edition. It used the Cartoon texture pack and nothing else changed either.
